Our roots are in Memphis and in the people who have gathered around this company:

• The artists who bring the work to life

• The audiences who sit with us in the room

• The volunteers who make things happen

• The playwrights who give us new worlds to explore

• The supporters who believe in what we're building.

Roots to Rise is our invitation to invest in that community.

We want to create a company where:

• Artists are valued and compensated for their work

• Emerging artists have room to take their first steps

• Where experienced artists can take on new challenges

• Where audiences become part of the creative community surrounding it

Your support helps make that possible.

Every gift helps us pay artists, strengthen our productions, develop new work, and create more opportunities for people to participate in the making of theatre. It gives us the resources to keep bringing ambitious, boundary-pushing theatre to Memphis and to make more space for the people who make it possible.
